Patterns, Sorting and Counting

A provocation for math was set out for children to explore colored links.  They LOVED them.  Not only did they sort, pattern and count them, they then got creative and made skipping ropes, necklaces and bracelets.
Together, they were practicing their group decision making skills as well as their communication skills to help each other work through these math concepts!
