We have had these little books in our classroom all year for the children to write in or draw in. Some have picked them up time to time, but this week they have been very popular. Some of the children are drawing, while others are being risk-takers and trying to sound out some words to go with their pictures. They are using their own experiences as a stimulus when writing and drawing. There is a variety of content inside the books based on what the children want to include.
