Swimming Goals

Today we started our physical and healthy goals unit of inquiry again, and since we start swimming tomorrow, we thought we would create some swimming goals.  I am sharing them with you so that if you go swimming with your child after school, perhaps you can work with them on these goals as well.

Swimming Goals

Juwana: I want to be everyday when I go to the swimming pool that I can swim by myself.  I can swim by myself.

Malath: I want to try to splash with my feet to help me move in the water.

Hashim: I want to use my goggles and use my eyes to look in the water.

Hajar: I want to learn how to jump into the water.

Ahmad: I want to swim under the water.

Sean: I want to flip backwards with no goggles and closing my eyes.

Hamudi:  I want to try to go inside the water and get up and turn around.

Roaa: I want to do bubbles in the water.

Amaya: I want to dive into the deep end of the swimming pool.

Retal:  I want to put my head in the water and I will put my feet under me and up and I will swim.

Saleh: I want to go in the water.

Azka: I will put my feet in the water and then I will go to put my head in and then my body and my hands then I will flip to jump.

Iman: I want to swim inside the water, but not very deep water. I will breathe and open my eyes there.

Hasnain: I want to swim.
