We have been inquiring into how the wind is a force- how it pushes and pulls different things. We made kites, and waited patiently for there to be a day where the wind picked up. Yesterday after second snack that opportunity arose, and we got to test our kites! The children had lots of fun running and getting their kites up in the air (it was hard to get pictures as they were going so fast).
They were problem solvers when their kites got tangled, and were very encouraging to their friends, giving them tips on how to get their kites up in the air!
